Everybody in Waco asks the same question: whatever happened to Louis Fite? In 1990 he was the most famous teenager in Central Texas — 2,532 yards, Texas 5A Player of the Year, Parade All-American, his No. 7 retired at Waco High. What the city never knew: he was homeless the whole time. And at the peak of his promise, he vanished to a junior college in Kansas — and even Louis didn't know why. Thirty-three years later, this film finds the answer. With appearances by Pro Football Hall of Famer LaDainian Tomlinson, coach Johnny Tusa, and the Waco voices who lived it, The Good Fite is a story of hunger, faith, and football — based on the memoir by Louis Fite.

This is a red carpet event — Louis Fite and the filmmaker in attendance, with a Q&A following the screening.

***ALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL. NO REFUNDS FOR ANY REASON WITH THE EXCEPTION OF A COMPLETE CANCELATION OF PERFORMANCE BY THE ARTIST.

In the event of a refund for cancelation by the artist, or promoter there will be a non-refundable 4% processing fee that is held by Thundertix from the total purchase amount.

***There will NOT be DINNER SERVICE in the Orchestra room or balcony.

Outside food and drink will not be permitted.

***When purchasing tickets please fill in your full mailing address and email so that your ticket confirmation will be sent. In the event that you do not receive your email confirmation, you can reach out to [email protected] for help and we will resend it to you. You do not need to bring your physical-digital ticket to the show unless you want to. You can give your name to the box office upon arrival and they will check you in.
